Who's That Girl?

This one hit hard.  Maybe it’s because I’ve followed along his dance journey and always admired his incredible talent.  Maybe it’s because he brought so much happiness and joy to those around him, including his followers always spreading such positivity and love in every message or dance post he shared. Maybe it’s because it is yet another reminder of how fragile life is and how what you see on the outside is not always what is reflected on the inside for so many people.  My heart hurts for his family, his wife and his beautiful children as they navigate and try to process what has happened and what is still to come. 

Yet another reminder that despite it being their anniversary just a few days before, the love he shared with his wife still wasn’t enough to keep him here and that in his heart and mind it was just that bad.  To see yet another young, talented, beautiful human that has left this earth too soon is just gut wrenching to say the least.

I ask everyone, now more than ever as the holidays can be so painful for so many to please be kind to everyone you meet.  Please be there for those you love.  Please reach out to those that you may not have heard from and even if they don’t respond just remind them that you are there for them and love them.  And lastly if you are suffering in silence, please know there is no shame in reaching out and asking for help.
