Who's That Girl?

To make significant changes or improvements to something.  I guess you can say that I have been reinventing myself over the last couple of years through a lot of self-reflection and plenty of hard work.  I have been striving for better days, less painful days and most importantly a future filled with beautifully healed days and with that came the realization that I needed something more.  Something to focus on in a positive way and something to fulfill me creatively, emotionally, and possibly even financially too.  Secretly I’ve been working hard for a while this year building towards something to call my very own and something to be proud of.  Well, I think I achieved just that.

Along this journey I’ve met some incredible people that I am honoured to call new friends and together we worked extremely hard building towards our entrepreneurial goals.  We checked in on one another, we worked together and most importantly we were each other’s cheerleaders.  It has been a blessing to meet them, to hear about their life path and goals and to build on our personal visions together.  I never expected to gain anything other than my certifications out of these programs, but I gained so much more.  

And so, with that I introduce to you LM Beauty Studio!  A place where a little self-love and self-care can be provided to all. A little escape for even just a little while.  My hope is that this will be more than just facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and microneedling – my hope is that it will help people walk away from any of my treatments feeling happy, confident, and beautiful not only on the outside but the inside too.  

I couldn’t have achieved this milestone without some key people so I would like to mention them. Thank you to my parents for helping wherever and whenever I needed them. Whether it was watching Mila so I could attend my classes, helping with meals to alleviate my stress load seeing as I was working full-time in addition to my courses or even with some of the back and forth of drop offs. Thank you to my friends and family for their pep talks, encouragement, and support. A special thank you to my study buddy during the countless hours of cramming, memorizing and practicing. Thank you to the universe for bringing me this positive outlet to look forward to and to focus on especially on those days that are incredibly hard to see through the fog. Finally, thank you to my most amazing little girl for being the inspiration in my life that pushes me to be the best I can and for her enthusiasm on what is to come. You truly are my miracle and my motivation. I will work every single day to make you proud.

So, as we kick off this new year my words of advice to any others out there thinking about reinventing themselves is to GO FOR IT! You have nothing to lose and potentially something beautiful to gain. Take the course, start a business, do whatever it is that could be out of your comfort zone. Lastly, I wish everyone a blessed 2024 full of health, prosperity and a successful reinvention of your own.
